Summer 2013

Times are changing and with it so do people. I have enjoyed my work maintaining swimming pools across Devon and Cornwall but currently feel the urge to concentrate on something different. I have been privileged to work for the wealthy and at beautiful locations, but most importantly for some of the kindest people I will ever meet. I also get to drive around the stunning countryside of the South West almost every day, the thing is that when traveling the same routes every week I inevitably miss out on the hidden gems that require time to discover. The cool glens, pretty streams, meadows and views from the highest peaks and more inaccessible parts of the coast.

Assimilating my life and dreams through photography will require dedicating as much of my spare time to capturing images as possible, while continuing to keep the home fires burning. So during the Summer I intend to start compiling a portfolio of photographic images, these will then be available to view on this site and prints will become available at a later date. The prints I intend to publish will be traditionally photographed and printed in my darkroom, with any colour work being reproduced digitally.

  • informationicon In 2012 I acquired another Mamiya family member - The 37mm Fish Eye lens is a beauty, although second hand and described as "slight signs of use" the lens itself looks close to mint condition. The four small filters that fit on the rear of the lens are all present and like the lens show little signs of use. This was after I also got the 500mm lens - both ends of the spectrum.
